We believe Art is Good for the Soul. When we tap into our creative side we can find avenues to help to identifying our personal gifts. Moving us toward accomplishing our dreams, goals, and building on our successes. Alma Gitana Project encourages each of us to believe in our dreams and in ourselves.

Our program is designed primarily for women to have a creative outlet pared with building self-esteem, empowerment and rekindling the spirit. Our groups run 2 hours, all materials included, and no cost to your establishment. We are a non-profit organization-501 3 C.

Our Women’s Program

* Creating Dream Catchers- Identifying our Dreams, Goal Setting and Inspirations.

* Painted Feathers-Resiliency-Hope, Identifying Strengths.

* Wreath Making-Circling the Tribe, Who are my Supports.

* Banners-Prayers Flags, Spreading Hope, Affirmations, Mantras.

* Affirmation Boards-Create your own Story, Living your Dream.

My background – Bachelors in Human Services. Previously facilitating workshops in DV shelters in Placer County, working with women on being self-sufficient, self-worth, and rekindling the spirit. Crisis Counselor and Case Manager Peace for Families. Case Manager at Whole Person Learning for Foster Youth. Completing the following Certifications: Crisis Intervention Training, Sexual Assault Response Training, Court Appointed Special Advocate, Alliance Life Coach Training, and Neuro Linguistic Practitioner.

My Passion– Creating with women with the goal of encouraging them to identify their strengths and trusting themselves. Our gifts are within. Life is both challenging and rewarding. Let’s celebrate it!
